Online Media Love
Technology has really come a long way and I really mean it when I say a long way. Everyday our world is growing and everyday us humans are trying to better ourselves in life as well things we use to live it. Television is probably one of the first technological invention I had in my memory that I really loved, and I'm sure it is for many 90's kids. Growing up for me wasn't always about getting the latest model in the Samsung Galaxy smartphones, I've had my fair share of outdoor playtime as well as being a good student in school. Even with the unconfined love I have for my t.v., I can pretty much say I've almost completely moved on to consuming media online and I love every second of it.
Between being a full time student, living on campus, and having to attend club meetings, I hardly have any time to relax let alone watch my favorite show during it's regular airing hours. Websites like Hulu, Netflix, and xfinity have really changed the way I can catch up on my virtual show dramas without having to dish out forty dollars a month for cable subscription. And the best thing about it is I can watch an episode multiple times, at any time of the day. Now I'm not saying regular television isn't amazing, it totally is but not everyone can catch that 8 pm season premiere on a Thursday night. It just works better with my busy schedule, so I can still catch up on the latest episode of Pretty Liars during the weekends when I have some time to myself.
Even aside from being able to watch television shows online, the internet world in general is just a huge gateway to new information. Websites like YouTube is now a great platform to learn through short media videos as well. Viewers can learn how to say greetings in a different language, watch their favorite artists' music videos, and even learn how to do a date night late by watching an online makeup tutorial. I've come to realize I'm a very visual person and I learn better by seeing it done first that's why sites like YouTube where others upload videos of themselves going step by step of how to do the Pythagorean Theorem, has really help me understand outside of the classroom.
Ultimately, I know technology will continue to grow and I feel fortunate that I can be there to grow with it. I've loved all the new ways it has come to help me and I hope the experience for others are just as positive as mine were.

Idol Fashion: Hollie Cavanagh Dress (May 10, 2012)
*UPDATE: I found Hollie's exact dress!
____________________________________________________
We first saw her wearing the dress when she came out singing California Dreamin' by The Mamas & the Papas along with her other top Idols Jessica Sanchez, Phillip Phillips, and Joshua Ledet.
Now, I must say my sister and I were captivated by this dress' color and design, it was perfect for this Spring and Summer, and so begins my journey to find out what dress this was.

The Perfect Black Blazer/Jacket & H&M finds!
*Picture heavy post.
I've been pretty back on updating my blog but here's one I started on the 4th of last month and didn't get to completing till tonight. Sometime this week I'll be posting up my thoughts on those Payless wedges!
So I've pretty much convinced myself/been convinced that a perfect fitting black blazer/jacket is a must have stable. I've been on the hunt for one that doesn't need alterations for that can be a bit costly. I mean I do own a black semi-decent/formal jacket from Forever 21 that I bought about three years ago, on sale...
I purchased it in a size S after being told by the SA that they don't carry any jackets or blazers in size XS but have seen a black jacket hanging on the clearance rack once...? Maybe they discontinue carrying in that size. But the only reason I didn't purchase the "non existence" XS jacket was because it was simply torn. The lining had a bunch of nit-picked holes and a button was half way falling off... but it fit SOOO much better than their size S -sigh-
While shopping in my local mall a fews back in mid December, I stumbled upon the perfect petite friendly blazer in H&M.

[Quest]Leopard Pumps
*UPDATE [1/9/12]: After spending time with family during Christmas and New Years, my whole opinion on these wedges changed. I went into Payless with my cousin during the holidays and fell in love with the nude patent color and was destined to buy it, until I found out they weren't on sale anymore and my 40% off code had expired! Booooooo! I still really want these comfortable steals so detailed post coming soon if I purchase them!

Hi everyone, I'm not sure what inspired me but I've definitely gotten into loving prints... My wardrobe consists of monotone scheme colored clothing. Usually black, gray, and white and nothing that's animal printed for what I can remember... But lately I've been on the hunt for the perfect leopard printed pumps.

I stopped in at Payless yesterday with my sister for she wanted to try on a pair of fluffy insole moccasin slipper-shoes. On the tall shelfs of shoes surrounded by the Christian Siriano for Payless collection, I spotted a pair of leopard printed wedges were surprisingly comfortable.
Shoes: Kylie Wedge Pump in 6 1/2 Wide at Payless (Buy: here)
Comes in 3 other suede colors: Black, Grey, & Red. Also available in nude patent.

Halloween '11 and Birthdays
How's everyone doing? Good hopefully especially since today is the first day of November!
I have to admit I feel like a loner, I always wish I was invited to cool Halloween parties like the ones that are all decked out! But nope, all my friends are away attending college elsewhere and I'm at home. -sigh- Don't get my wrong, I love living in the comfort of my home, I'd just like to go partying every now and then to relieve some stress. SCHOOL STRESS.
Which reminds me, I have a 4-5 page research paper due tomorrow with about 9 sources and another 6 pages of annotated bibliography too. Oh and a pre-calc quiz, yay for college.
Anyways, I'd like to share with you what I was for Halloween and maybe you can share your's too!
With all the vampire rage going on, I thought why not?! Since it was so last minute, I mean like literally my mom woke me up and said we were going to the mall with my younger brothers to trick or treat and I was not ready. So I just mixed some red color lipsticks, since I dont own any true red.
Rimmed my eyes with a black eyeliner, winged it out a little, and some blue colored contacts. Although hazel or red would of been a better and real choice, I didn't have any at the moment.

$5 off $5 Target Online Purchase & 20% off Sephora.com
So thanks to a few great friends on Facebook, I've found this awesome page that offers lots of useful coupons just for liking their page!
This one I'm talking about today in this post, is for a coupon to use on Target.com. It gives you $5 off any purchase over $5! (Ends October 27, 2011)
My sister was trying to see if she can get an item absolutely free, meaning she was trying to see if she could buy something under $5 and not pay anything out of her own pocket. What she did was add an item under $5, apply the coupon, and tried to checkout. Everything went smooth up until the checkout where she tried to pay with her PayPal. When she clicks "Pay with PayPal", the page reloads back to the same page and doesn't go anywhere, so no work. But after adding an item OVER $5, she was able to purchase it after about a dime tax and $.99 shipping (depending on your item, shipping varies different), she only paid about $1.09 for her new lipstick! Still a pretty good deal!
I found myself using this coupon code to buy the huge-raved-about L'Oreal Voluminous Million Lashes Mascara in Blackest Black waterproof. Only paid about $3 shipping included!
(P.S. lots of cosmetics' shipping price varies between $.49-$8.99 each. My mascara's shipping was only .99 cents!)
Anyways, let's get on with it!
