Halloween '11 and Birthdays

How's everyone doing? Good hopefully especially since today is the first day of November!

I have to admit I feel like a loner, I always wish I was invited to cool Halloween parties like the ones that are all decked out! But nope, all my friends are away attending college elsewhere and I'm at home. -sigh- Don't get my wrong, I love living in the comfort of my home, I'd just like to go partying every now and then to relieve some stress. SCHOOL STRESS.
Which reminds me, I have a 4-5 page research paper due tomorrow with about 9 sources and another 6 pages of annotated bibliography too. Oh and a pre-calc quiz, yay for college.

Anyways, I'd like to share with you what I was for Halloween and maybe you can share your's too!
With all the vampire rage going on, I thought why not?! Since it was so last minute, I mean like literally my mom woke me up and said we were going to the mall with my younger brothers to trick or treat and I was not ready. So I just mixed some red color lipsticks, since I dont own any true red.
Rimmed my eyes with a black eyeliner, winged it out a little, and some blue colored contacts. Although hazel or red would of been a better and real choice, I didn't have any at the moment.

And lo and behold! My last minute vampire costume has been born!

$5 off $5 Target Online Purchase & 20% off Sephora.com

So thanks to a few great friends on Facebook, I've found this awesome page that offers lots of useful coupons just for liking their page!

This one I'm talking about today in this post, is for a coupon to use on Target.com. It gives you $5 off any purchase over $5! (Ends October 27, 2011)

My sister was trying to see if she can get an item absolutely free, meaning she was trying to see if she could buy something under $5 and not pay anything out of her own pocket. What she did was add an item under $5, apply the coupon, and tried to checkout. Everything went smooth up until the checkout where she tried to pay with her PayPal. When she clicks "Pay with PayPal", the page reloads back to the same page and doesn't go anywhere, so no work. But after adding an item OVER $5, she was able to purchase it after about a dime tax and $.99 shipping (depending on your item, shipping varies different), she only paid about $1.09 for her new lipstick! Still a pretty good deal!

I found myself using this coupon code to buy the huge-raved-about L'Oreal Voluminous Million Lashes Mascara in Blackest Black waterproof. Only paid about $3 shipping included!
(P.S. lots of cosmetics' shipping price varies between $.49-$8.99 each. My mascara's shipping was only .99 cents!)

Anyways, let's get on with it!

LAST Discontinued Rock & Republic Blush for sale!

Two  ONE Rock & Republic Blushes for sale! *DISCONTINUED*
As many makeup junkies might know, Rock and Republic blushes are super pigmented and pretty! All sold out on their website and mega hard to find anywhere but I have two beautiful colors on sale.
I'm selling the colors:

  • Immoral: Sheer matte, bright peachy coral. (Swatched once with clean brush very lightly) SOLD & SHIPPED!
  • Shameless: More of a bronzer than blush but it's a pretty medium brown with super finely milled gold flecks. (Swatched twice with clean brush lightly also, as shown in picture) There are two pictures of this blush, the first one where it shows the whole blush, the color of it actually is a lot darker than it really is. The second one that shows how much is used is the actual color.

Makeup Obssesed and School Stressed

So I've realize it's been a loooooooong time since I've blogged about anything. Since I'm watching some chinese drama right now, might as well type up a blog post right? :)

So if you don't know me personal enough, I'm kind of a makeup fanatic... Anything to do with makeup excites me. :) But yeah, when I'm bored, I like to rewatch makeup tutorials on YouTube from MichellePhan. Though I really enjoy watching her videos...

How To: Make a Key Lime Pie! (Halloween Edition) [Picture Tutorial]

Hey everyoneeeee! Okay time to blog again! One of my favorite things to do is to bake! So with Halloween swinging around the corner, and my love for baking, I've decided to make a Halloween styled Key Lime Pie! :D I hope you all enjoy and have fun baking! And if you're not old enough to use the oven, please ask an adult to assist you.

*Disclaimer: My key lime pie has orange because I wanted to keep with the Halloween theme, which is why I also have a black-cookie crust! :)

The follow is a recipe and instructions on how to make your own pie-crust, again I wanted to keep with the Halloween colors so I decided to use an Oreo cookie crust. But feel free to make your own or buy a pre-made one from your grocery store!

Ingredients to make your own pie crust: [This recipe is enough to make two pie crusts; either use it as a top & bottom crust, or two bottom pie crusts]

Halloween Costume & Plans?

Well you see... we're a little over half-way into October... which means, most of us has either already have a Halloween costume or at least thought about Halloween... I mean seriously? There are so many decorations up everywhereeee! But that's the least of my concern.

Being a freshman in college... I actually have a bit of homework to worry about; but it's only in my, so called "English" class that is. It's actually a essay writing class, and the professor even told us that! That's one thing I HATE most about English class in general; essays. Which makes it a WHOLE LOT better! Now that I have an enter class to write essays in for an entire SEMESTER! YAYYY! /end sarcasm.

ANYWAYS, back to my story. I actually had bought a costume and had it arrived before October began. And yes... sorry to anyone who hates these "sexy" costumes... but they're actually not all that "sexy" on me... and I'll tell you why.
